Document Communication Industry Leaders Team Up
to Establish Industry Goals at Xplor 2001
Executives from Bell & Howell, Pitney Bowes, Xerox, Adobe, Océ and other leading document communication organizations prepare programs and services to benefit the industry
TORRANCE, Calif., (October 30, 2001)-The Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF), the only non-profit organization dedicated to document communication, will hold its Board of Directors meeting during the 22nd Xplor Global Electronic Document Systems Conference & Exhibit, preparing for worldwide education and scholarship programs to promote the industry at large.
The EDSF Board of Directors, made up of executives from leading corporations in the document communication industry, plans to develop programs designed to educate, inform and support current and future industry professionals. EDSF scholarship awards programs and internship programs empower students, in addition to educating and preparing them as future industry professionals. The Board of Directions is also evaluating programs to promote current professionals, by launching continuing-education programs and seminars for career growth and development.

The Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 30, from 8:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL. Participants include Bell & Howell Company, Xerox Corporation, Pitney Bowes, Océ Printing Systems, Adobe, Roll Systems, Xeikon, Hewlett Packard, IBM and Scitex Digital Printing. The Xplor 2001 Conference & Exhibit, the largest conference and exhibit to focus solely on all aspect of document technology, will also be held at the same location, from October 28 through November 2.
