DISTINGUISHED LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD TO EDSF’S JEANNE MOWLDS
OutputLinks Names New Document-Industry Scholarship After
EDSF’s Retiring Executive Director
HOUSTON, Tex. U.S.A. (Sept. 25, 2007) - OutputLinks (OutputLinks.com), the leading information and research resource of the high volume transaction output (HVTO) industry, honored Jeanne Mowlds with the OutputLinks Distinguished Lifetime Service Award. Mowlds is recognized for more than a decade of service to the industry through EDSF (www.EDSF.org), the non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and graphic communications marketplace. Mowlds will retire from EDSF as executive director at the end of 2007.
In recognition of Jeanne Mowlds’ Distinguished Lifetime Service Award, OutputLinks will fund an EDSF Scholarship, a minimum of $1,000 annually, in Jeanne Mowlds’ name. The Jeanne Mowlds Scholarship will be administered by EDSF.
The OutputLinks Distinguished Lifetime Service Award, which honors an individual who has shown extraordinary service and leadership in advancement of the HVTO industry, is one of the most prestigious awards of the OutputLinks Recognition Program. The award was recently presented to Mowlds before the EDSF Board of Directors, a who’s who of industry leaders that includes EDSF Chair Quincy L Allen of Xerox Corporation.
“Jeanne Mowlds, through her work in industry relations, communications, marketing and fundraising, has successfully shaped valuable EDSF programs that benefit and serve the document management and graphic communications marketplace,” said Brian Baxendale, an OutputLinks Board member and former EDSF chair. “The industry is truly grateful for her commitment and dedication.”

Through her work as EDSF Executive Director, Jeanne Mowlds helped to: build a library of valuable industry research through grants to academic institutions and in partnership with major industry research firms; implement and manage scholarship and awards programs, presenting more than 225 scholarships and recognizing 49 educators and programs of excellence worldwide; and develop the EDSF board, enabling them to contribute their time and talents to the Foundation. Jeanne Mowlds is a past recipient of the OutputLinks Women of Distinction Award, and she is a certified Electronic Document Professional (EDP).
