Research is a fundamental component of the services that EDSF provides its constituencies. EDSF supports industry research in the following ways:
- Academic Research Grant & Mentor Program
EDSF's worldwide research grant and mentor program involves students in important, leading-edge research, providing them with actual experience in the research process and support from a supervising professor and a professional EDSF mentor. See the video at the bottom of this page for a student's perspective on their research experience.
- Co-Branded Research Grants
EDSF provides academic institutions an opportunity to partner with leading research firms such as Gartner, Doculabs, Infotrends and IDC to study industry trends.
- EDSF REPORT
EDSF's bi-monthly newsletter provides input on leading-edge industry trends, as well as promotes the research completed by EDSF's grant programs. Frank Romano edp, professor emeritus at Rochester Institute of Technology, serves as the editor.
- Research Library
In addition to the EDSF funded research White Papers, our Research Library provides access to relevant industry research provided by other organizations and individuals. All research that is posted within our Research Library has been reviewed and approved by the EDSF Research Committee.
- EDSF Publications, Presentations and Webinars
EDSF provides archived publications, presentations given at tradeshows and webinars on how to participate in EDSF programs.
Your help is needed! If you have a research proposal, would like to underwrite a research project or provide a White Paper to be posted in the Research Library, please contact us.
