EDSF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

A variety of industry-supported scholarships give students worldwide the opportunity to pursue studies and careers in the document management and communication marketplace. EDSF scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are committed to pursuing a career in the field of document management and communication in the areas of: document preparation, production and/or document distribution, including 1:1 marketing; graphic communication & arts; e-commerce; imaging science, printing, web authoring, electronic publishing, computer science or telecommunications and/or business (i.e. sales, marketing). The following summarizes the EDSF scholarship awards.

Scholarship awards may range from USD $250 - $5,000; unless otherwise noted.

Awards for Four-Year and Advanced Students

EDSF Board of Directors Scholarship
EDSFJunior, senior or advanced-degree college student who is pursuing a degree in the field of document communication. Includes document related technologies, such as graphic communications, document management, document content and/or document distribution, and multimedia.



Heidelberg USA Scholarship
Sponsored by Heidelberg USA
Junior, senior or advanced-degree college student who is pursuing a degree in the field of document/graphic communication. Includes document related technologies, such as graphic communications, document management, document content and/or document distribution, and multimedia.


Hoods Memorial Scholarship
David Hoods Junior, senior or advanced-degree college student who demonstrates a strong interest in working with electronic documents as a career. Includes document related technologies, such as graphic communications, document management, document content and/or document distribution. Special consideration is given to students interested in marketing and public relations.

Honoring the OutputLinks Stewardship Award recipients, this scholarship is awarded to an individual who, through volunteer and community activities, has demonstrated leadership and contribution. Student is pursuing a career in document management and communication, graphic communications, IT or business.

Jeanne Mowlds Scholarship - $1,000+ usd

Jeanne MowldsHonoring Jeanne Mowlds for more than a decade of service to the industry as the Executive Director of EDSF, this scholarship will be awarded to individuals pursing a degree in document content, IT, engineering, graphic arts, or business in the document management and graphic communications marketplace.

Junior, senior or advanced-degree college student who is pursuing a degree in the field of document management and communication. Academic focus includes document imaging, graphics, document management / content / arching / security / distributions, business, sales and marketing, engineering, and computer science.

John A. Lopiano Scholarship

John A. Lopiano Junior, senior or advanced-degree college student who is pursuing a degree in the field of document communications. Priority consideration will be given to students who work in or whose family member has worked or currently works in a segment of the high volume computer output (HVCO) industry.
