EDSF awards and administers the following scholarships:

  • Document Management and Graphic Communications Industry Scholarships

    The EDSF scholarship program was initiated in 1999 to recognize and support the next generation of professionals for the Document Management and Graphic Communication industry. The industry encompasses the wide range of businesses and professionals involved in the creation, management, production, distribution and storage of print and electronic documents.

    The EDSF scholarship program is supported by companies and individuals involved in the Document Management and Graphic Communications industry including 4over, AIIM International, Allegra Network, AlphaGraphics, BCT, Bell + Howell, C.P. Bourg, Canon USA, CGS Publishing Technologies, Consolidated Graphics, Dscoop, EFI, FedEx Office, Franchise Services, GMC Software, Hewlett-Packard, InfoPrint, InfoTrends, Mimeo.com, Objectif Lune, Océ North America, OfficeMax, Pitney Bowes, PrinterPresence, Quark, Ricoh Americas Corporation, RISO, Web2Print Experts and Xerox Corporation.

    In addition to the scholarships funded by the EDSF supporters, EDSF administers scholarships for the following companies: Axis, Inc., Franchise Services, Inc., The Lewis M. Gabbe Foundation, The Hoods Memorial Fund, OutputLinks Communications Group, Questex Media Group, Robert Kai, Signs Now and Symcor.

    The OutputLinks Communications Group Sponsors Scholarships, administered by EDSF, were established in honor of the employees of the industry leading companies that sponsor OutputLink's Communications Group extensive array of free services. These scholarships are awarded to qualified students worldwide without regard to field of study or degree program. To apply for this scholarship, you MUST be employed by, or nominated by an employee, of one of the companies that sponsors OutputLink' Communication Group's services.

  • Richard, William and Walter Sakai Memorial Scholarship

    The Richard, William and Walter Sakai Memorial Scholarship, administered by EDSF, was established in 2011 by Robert Kai in honor of his uncles. This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding full-time student attending University of Washington, University of Portland or Washington State University and pursuing a degree in Business Journalism or Marketing or English Literature.
